The school library has a rich collection of informative and interesting books in English, Hindi, Bengali, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physical Education, Commerce, Economics, Art and Enclyclopaedias.

Strict silence should be observed by all inside the school library.

When borrowing a book, any defect found in it should be brought to the notice of the Librarian immediately.

Any library book lost will have to be replaced or paid for by the borrower.

No book should be taken out from the library unless a proper entry is made in the borrower’s records in the library. A book should not be kept by the borrower for more than a week at a time. It is then to be renewed again for another week. On occasions of renewal, the library book must be produced before the librarian. Only one book may be taken at a time.

All books should be returned before the beginning of a vacation. A borrower who fails to do so or loses it, is liable to pay a fine equal to the then present value of the book.

A student not paying the fine under rule ‘vii’ or is found guilty of disobedience to the instructions of the Librarian renders himself/herself liable for suspension from the school.
